Marrakech City Tour - Full Day - Overview

Leave Agadir for the day and visit the historic city of Marrakech. Drive through the scenic countryside dotted with orange, lemon and argan trees to reach the ‘red city’ of Morocco.

Taking its name from the red buildings, Marrakech is a good place to learn all about Moroccan culture. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque named after the souk el koutoubiyyin – the bazaar of the booksellers, which used to be nearby. Capable of holding 25,000 people at one time, the mosque is ornately carved and is one of Marrakech’s most important landmarks.

Don’t miss a visit to the Djeema el-Fna Square. Performing artists, snake charmers, musicians and storytellers throng the square and will entertain you. Also visit the Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden on this very interesting tour around the Moroccan city of Marrakech.

Marrakech City Tour - Full Day - Itinerary


You will be picked up from your hotel in Agadir at 0600h (6am). Accompanied by an English-speaking guide you will travel through the fertile countryside to reach Marrakech.

Uniquely situated at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains this city which boasts over 100,000 palms trees is often described a biblical setting.

A guided sightseeing tour will take you through the red ramparts of the city and show you some of Marrakech’s highlights. Some of the places you will see include.
• Menara Gardens: Enjoy a refreshing stroll along the artificial lake surrounded by orchards and olive groves.
• The Old Medina: The Medina (or old city) has been classified a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• The Souks: Shop for traditional souvenirs such as metal and leather products and carpets in this fascinating marketplace.
• The Koutoubia Minaret: The Koutoubia Mosque is one of Morocco’s most important building and the well-preserved minaret, engraved with many intricate carvings is its pinnacle.
• The Bahia Palace: The Royal Palace of Morroco, part of which is still inhabited by the country’s Royal Family. • Djemma El Fna Square: The busiest square in Africa and let the snake-charmers, acrobats, musicians, magicians, dancers, fortune tellers and engaging storytellers entertain you.

You will also enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch in a restaurant in the centre of the city

After your time in Marrakech you will return to Agadir. You will reach your hotel in Agadir at around 2100h (9pm).

How to book

Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page.  Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
You can easily change your dates,number of travellers and tour options during and after the booking process.
If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
