Inverness Hop-on Hop-Off Tour - Itinerary


On this Hop-On Hop-Off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. With fourteen stops covering all of Inverness’ main attractions such as the Inverness Castle and the Whin Park, this tour provides the perfect introduction to the city.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board one of the buses. Buses run from 1000h (10:00 am) to 1600h (4:00 pm) with a frequency of 60 minutes. Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops.

You can board the bus from any of the stops:

• Bridge Street: The main attraction around this site is the red stone Inverness Castle. It was built in the 1830s to house courts and administrative buildings.

• Queensgate: You can stroll through the Victoria Market.

• Huntly Street: From here, you can walk to see the Suspension Bridge.

• Ness Walk Road.

• St Andrew’s Cathedral: Built in a Gothic Revival style, this was the first new Cathedral to be completed in Britain since the Reformation.

• Whin Park: The site is famous for the Miniature Railway and a kid’s play area.

• Floral Gardens/Aquadome: Stop here to see the floral gardens and the Ice rink.

• Tomnaburchill Hill: From here, you can see the Caledonian Canal, one of the most fascinating waterways in Europe.

• TESCO

• McDonald’s: From here, you can walk up to the Inverness Castle situated on a low cliff overlooking the Loch Ness.

• Belfield Park

• Holm Mills Shopping Village: The site is famous for the Pringles Woollen Mill.

• Haugh Road: See the War Memorial which commemorates the dead of the two World Wars.

• Bridge Street

You may choose to conclude this tour at any of the stops mentioned above as per your convenience.

Your booking voucher can be exchanged for your Hop-On Hop-Off ticket at any one of the stops. Simply choose the stop which you wish to start from and present your voucher to the driver who will exchange it for a ticket that will be valid for 24 hours from that time.

How to book
Select from available dates and enter number of passengers to see your total price.  Click on confirm price and book.
Once you are happy with the price,proceed to checkout to our secure payment page.  Enter your details and click on confirm and pay.
A confirmation voucher for your activity will appear on your screen and a copy will be sent to your mailbox.
You can easily change your dates,number of travellers and tour options during and after the booking process.
If your tour status is On Request we will not charge your card until we have been able to confirm your booking with our supplier.  If your tour status is bookable online, your card will be charged when you click confirm and pay.Please note that you don't have to pay anything at the destination.
What happens after you book
Please print the electronic voucher sent to you and give them to the operator on the day of the activity.
The voucher also includes the operator's complete contact details, and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you have.

How to Cancel

Click on view details for the booking you wish to cancel, then click on cancel selected service.
Your credit card will be refunded with the amount due, according to the cancellation policy.
